INDIAN PROFESSORS
Just as you need a guide to show you a path, an “Acharya” or teacher, guides you step by step in your inner journey in Yoga. Every “Acharya” is teaching with the blessing of the “Guru” - the guiding light to pass on this light to all aspiring souls and re-discover yourself as light, and not the body. That is the real purpose of Yoga.
NATURAL SITES
The phrase “living in tune with nature” has a precise meaning in Ayurveda : having healthy desires that match what you actually need. As nature made you, what you need and what you want shouldn’t be in conflict. This is why we choose only beautiful and natural sites for our retreats.
AYURVEDIC FOOD
Sattvic diet is a diet based on foods in Ayurveda and Yoga literature that contain sattva quality (guna). Sattvic diet is a regimen that places emphasis on seasonal foods, fruits, dairy products, nuts, seeds, oils, ripe vegetables, legumes, whole grains, and non-meat based proteins. We propose Ayurvedic, Vegan and Vegetarian cuisine, made by Indian chefs, with Indian traditional way of cooking.
INDIAN MUSIC
Sound or "Naad" has been an integral part of Indian classical music. A healthy person is considered to have a "sound body" and "sound mind". Listening and tuning to Indian Classical music has always been considered a way to connect with your inner self. Just as your eyes are the windows to your soul, similarly your whole body vibrates with the sound.
